Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using this website or enrolling in any Morpho Studio programme. By proceeding, you indicate that you have read and understood the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words carry the meanings set out below:

"We", "Us", "Our"
— Morpho Studio, operating from Lot 3-7, Tropicana City Mall, Persiaran Tropicana, 47410 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
"You", "User", "Client"
— any individual who accesses this website or enrols in a programme.
"Programme"
— any of the structured educational series or planning engagements offered by Morpho Studio, as described on this website.
"Website"
— the website accessible at morphost.site and all pages within it.
"Content"
— all text, materials, workbooks, session notes, and resources provided by Morpho Studio in connection with a Programme.
"Agreement"
— the contract formed between You and Us upon confirmed enrolment in a Programme.

2. Acceptance of terms

By using this website or making an enquiry, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

To enrol in a Programme, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law. Couples participating in the Couples' Money Conversations programme must each confirm their acceptance independently.

These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

3. Service description

Morpho Studio offers financial education programmes and long-horizon planning engagements, including:

  • First Paycheck Programme — a three-session programme for young adults entering the workforce, covering EPF, income tax, banking, and basic investment principles (RM 560 per participant).
  • Couples' Money Conversations — a three-session facilitated series helping partners align on shared financial decisions (RM 1,950 per couple).
  • Long-Horizon Planning Engagement — a four-month engagement for individuals and households planning for retirement and long-term financial considerations (RM 3,950 per household).

Sessions are delivered in person at our Petaling Jaya studio or online, as agreed at enrolment. Programme availability is subject to scheduling and capacity.

4. Enrolment and eligibility

Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Morpho Studio following payment of the applicable programme fee. Submitting an enquiry form does not constitute enrolment.

We reserve the right to decline an enrolment request if we consider that a particular programme is not well-suited to a prospective client's circumstances. In such cases, we will endeavour to suggest a more appropriate alternative.

Participants in the First Paycheck Programme are expected to be in the early stages of their working life. The Long-Horizon Planning Engagement is most suitable for clients with a planning horizon of ten years or more.

5. Payment terms

All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of the first session, unless we have agreed a specific payment arrangement in writing.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of enrolment.

Refund policy

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the first session: full refund, less a RM 50 administrative handling charge.
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before the first session: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the first session, or after commencement: no refund is available, though we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
  • If Morpho Studio cancels a session for reasons within our control, we will offer a full rescheduling or a pro-rated refund for the affected sessions.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

We understand that circumstances change. Clients may request to reschedule a session with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional charge, subject to availability. Requests made with fewer than 48 hours' notice may be treated as a forfeited session.

Each programme includes a reasonable number of rescheduled sessions within the agreed programme period. For the Long-Horizon Planning Engagement, pacing may be adjusted by mutual agreement to suit the client's reflective process.

7. User responsibilities

When using this website or participating in a programme, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when enquiring or enrolling
  • Engage with programme materials in good faith and for personal, non-commercial use only
  • Treat facilitators and other participants with courtesy and respect
  • Not record sessions without prior written consent from Morpho Studio
  • Not share, reproduce, or distribute programme materials provided to you
  • Not use this website in any way that could damage its functionality or reputation

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website and all programme materials — including workbooks, checklists, frameworks, and session notes — remain the intellectual property of Morpho Studio. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use programme materials for your own private reference following your participation. This licence does not permit reproduction, distribution, or commercial use.

9. Disclaimers

Important notice

Morpho Studio provides financial education, not regulated financial advice. The content of our programmes is intended to build understanding and support your own decision-making. It does not constitute advice regulated under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or any other Malaysian financial services legislation. You should consult a licensed financial adviser before making significant financial decisions.

This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information presented is complete and accurate at all times.

We do not make any representation that the outcomes described in programme descriptions will be achieved by any individual participant, as results will depend on each person's personal circumstances and decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Morpho Studio's total liability to you arising from or related to these Terms or your participation in a programme shall not exceed the programme fee actually paid by you.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or financial loss arising from decisions you make following a programme.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Morpho Studio, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of programme materials or the website.

12. Termination

Either party may bring a programme engagement to a close by giving reasonable written notice. If you choose to withdraw from a programme partway through, the refund policy in Section 5 applies.

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue access to the website at any time without notice for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before commencing formal proceedings, we encourage both parties to attempt to resolve disputes informally. Please write to us at [email protected] with a description of your concern, and we will respond within 14 days.

14. General provisions

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Morpho Studio regarding the subject matter herein.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a successor entity without restriction.
  • Notices. Written notices may be sent by email, with delivery confirmed upon receipt of a reply or, where no reply is received, 48 hours after sending.

15. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring the revisions to your attention.

Your continued use of the website or participation in a programme after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a change, you should cease using the website and inform us in writing.
